APEC Digital Education Policy Training (ADEPT) Programme 2023 in Seoul, Republic of Korea

Wednesday, 6 September 2023 – A delegation from the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam was officially invited to join the APEC Digital Education Policy Training (ADEPT) programme 2023 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, which was co-organised by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and Institute of APEC Collaborative Education, from 5th September to 14th September 2023.

The delegation was led by Yang Mulia Sumardi bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Acting Assistant Director (Administration), Lifelong Learning Centre and Yang Mulia Muhd Nurul Hafiz bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Education Officer, Brunei Darussalam Leadership and Teachers Academy (BDLTA), Department of Educators Management.

The welcoming remarks during the opening ceremony of the ADEPT was delivered by Her Excellency Pengiran Hajah Nooriyah binti Pengiran Lela Wijaya Pengiran Haji Yussof, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Republic of Korea, as the Guest of Honour.

ADEPT is a programme that aims to foster collaboration amongst prominent education policymakers and experts throughout the APEC region. This is a platform where participants from different economies discuss the digital education trends, challenges and best practices, and to build partnerships that can help turn project proposals into actual policies.
