Career Visit to L3C To Explore Working Opportunities
On Saturday, 19 Rabiulawal 1444H corresponding to 15 October 2022M, a total of 9 BTEC Hospitality Year 11 students and 5 Pre-Vocational Program (Multi-Level) students along with 3 teachers from Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School, Tutong district led by the Head of Career Teacher, Cikgu Yap Mei Yin had a study visit to the Lifelong Learning Centre (L3C), Ministry of Education. This visit was organized by the school’s Career Education Unit.
Among the purposes of the visit is to teach self-reliance skills in generating a halal and sustainable income after completing formal education to the students by introducing and instilling a lifelong learning culture in them.
The students had the opportunity to visit ongoing programmes at L3C, namely Program Potongan dan Jahitan, Program Sulaman Mesin Kisi and Program Masakan.
The visit ended with a closing speech delivered by the Acting Assistant Director (Administration), Sumardi bin Haji Abdul Hamid and a group photo session.
