Ministry of Education Holds Tahlil Ceremony at The Royal Mausoleum in Conjunction with the Month of Ramadhan 1443H

In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan 1443H, Lifelong Learning Centre takes part in organizing the Ministry of Education Tahlil Ceremony along side with Examination Department, Secretariat of National Education Council (UMPK) and Education Technology Centre which took place at Kubah Makam Diraja, Jalan Tutong.

 

The Tahlil Ceremony is specifically for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman and Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia  Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah  Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

 

The delegation of officers and staff of the Ministry of Education was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education, Brunei Darussalam.
During the ceremony, the recitation of Tahlil was led by Awang Muhammad bin Haji Bagol, Imam Masjid Universiti Brunei Darussalam followed by Doa Tahlil and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.


 
Also present at the ceremony were Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of the Universiti of Brunei Darussalam; Dr. Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA); Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education); Heads of Departments as well as officials from the Ministry of Education.
 
The ceremony is an annual activity of the Ministry of Education and its Departments to further enliven the month of Ramadan and as a platform in improving the practice of worship as well as strengthening silaturahim among officers and staff.
