In conjunction with World Environment Day, L³ Centre participated in @bccs.bn’s ‘Green Protocol’ where a total of 2,000 trees are to be planted under the Ministry of Education.
On the 15th of June 2021, tree planting demonstrations and planting of 10 trees were held within the premise of Lifelong Learning Centre in collaboration with the Office of the Director General of Education as the ‘Green Protocol’ focal and Lifelong Learning Centre. The event was attended by senior officers, officers and staff members from various departments, division and centre under the purview of Ministry of Education.
The Green Protocol is one of the initiatives spearheaded by the government in promoting a sustainable lifestyle in efforts to reduce carbon emissions in the country, which is in line with the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy (BNCCP) of paving the way for the country to become a sustainable nation.
L³ Centre is proud to be a part of a great cause and looks forward to contributing as much as we can towards a greener future.
